I can not go on about Australia enough. The kindness and generosity of spirit is what distinguishes this country. We were undoubtedly spoiled by the friendships we started there and by the sheer beauty of the people and places. My undying thanks go out to Ron and Shane for their unbelievable generosity and Duncan for more than I can say and Terry and Eric who convinced me to go. Of course the Mardis Gras was incredible but the everyday interaction with an open and fun people was really the highlight for me. The most telling part of this vacation was meeting other Americans and sharing in the amazment/amusement at how much fun we were having and it being not only a factor of the place but more so the people.
